The petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 188 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(a) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016. 40 litres of foreign liquor was allegedly recovered from the vehicle of the petitioners.

Submission is that the petitioners have no criminal antecedent and they are in custody since 13.09.2016. In the aforesaid facts, the petitioners above named are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial

Case No. 336 of 2016 subject to the condition that the petitioners shall file an undertaking before the court below at the time of furnishing bail bonds that they will not indulge in such activities in future and on filing the undertaking before the court below, the court below shall accept the bail bonds submitted by the petitioners.
