The petitioner is accused in connection with Ram Krishna Nagar P.S. Case No. 691 of 2019 registered under Sections 8C, 21C, 25 and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act pending in the Court of Sessions Judge/Special Judge, Patna. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that earlier prayer of the petitioner for bail was rejected by this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 14367 of 2020 on 07.09.2020. Petitioner is in custody since 21.09.2019.

Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner with submission that earlier prayer of the petitioner for bail was rejected by this Court on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No. 31627 of 2021(3) dt.18-08-2021 2/2 merit. There is no fresh ground in the present case. Further he submits that on perusal of report, it appears that no witness has turned up since the case was transferred by the learned Sessions Judge.

Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, this application is again rejected. However, Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of six months.
