2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with G.B. Nagar P.S. Case No. 08/2024 registered on 08.01.2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 30(d)/34/36 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2022.

3. As per the prosecution, 15 litres of illicit liquor, along with various articles used for its preparation, were recovered from a bamboo orchard which is the subject matter of the present case.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. It is contended that the antecedents of the petitioner are clean and

The petitioner's name has surfaced in the case solely on the basis of suspicion and a disclosure made by the local chaukidar. However,, the petitioner is willing to comply with any conditions that may be imposed upon him by the Hon'ble Court.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail made on behalf of the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above-named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Trial Court within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing a bail bond of 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand only) with two sureties of ₹ the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No.1, Siwan, in connection with G.B. Nagar P.S. Case No. 08/2024, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Dr. Anshuman, J) Ashwini/- U T
