JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 03-07-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 26 of 2020 for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 24.02.2020. He further submits that in the instant case total 540 litres of liquor was seized.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 24.02.2020, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five

Case No. 26 of 2020 with the condition that the petitioner on release will render his service as volunteer for a period of two months in dedicated Covid Hospital. He is required to report to the District Nodal Officer in the concerned region, who shall utilize his service in this pandemic.
