The petitioner prays for anticipatory bail in connection Nautan PS case no. 80 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under various section 304B/34 of Indian Penal Code. It has been submitted on behalf of petitioner that there is no specific allegation of assault and demand of dowry against the accused person and his father-in-law rather the petitioner and other accused persons have taken the girl to Varanasi for treatment as she has tried to commit suicide.
Heard learned A.P.P. also. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail.
Having heard both sides. In above of the fact that petitioner is the father-in-law, let the petitioner, named above, in the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9939 of 2017 (3) dt.20-03-2017 2/2 event of his arrest or surrender in the Court within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/-(Rs. Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate-IX, Siwan in connection with Nautan PS case no. 80 of 2016 subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
