2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief/s:

(i) for a direction to the concerning respondents to make payment of compensation against the acquired land of the petitioner Vide Mauza- Belhi, Thana No.

119, Khata No. 1026 Old (1172-New) Khesra No. 1694 old (1950) New) on the basis of rate of residential whereas same

(ii) any other relief/reliefs may also be provided to the petitioner if the petitioner deserves the same.

A counter affidavit has come on behalf of respondents no. 3 to 6 and it records that the matter has now been referred to the Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority (LARRA) under section 64 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

4. In view of the development that has taken place and the Collectoriate, Madhubani vide letter no. 329 dated 24.03.2026 has referred the matter to LARRA, 2013, allowing the petitioner to agitate matter before the aforesaid authority and expecting it to dispose it of at the earliest, the writ petition is disposed of.
