The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this application on behalf of the petitioners above named for issuance of direction, order, writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents concerned to make due payment as well as pension and other benefits according to law to the petitioners owing to accidental death during service of his sole son namely Late Rajeev Kumar who was posted as Assistant Manager (P.O.) at Canara Bank, Branch Malawan, Etah in Uttar Pradesh."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondent-Bank submits that all the outstanding dues have been paid to the father of the deceased son of the petitioners and even compassionate employment has been provided to the wife of the deceased son of the petitioners, hence it is submitted that the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous during the interregnum period.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that if that be so then they have got no grievance.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
