The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with G.R.P. Kiul P. S. Case No. 55 of 2008 registered under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Section 27 of the Arms Act.

It would be apparent from perusal of the FIR that there is direct and specific allegation against the petitioners that they shot at the husband of the informant from the point blank range, as a result of which he sustained injuries and died on the spot itself. The informant of the case is an eye witness to the occurrence. Taking into consideration the gravity of the offence and
