Having regard to the facts which have been stated in the present writ petition, we are of the view that a proper and effective investigation is needed in the present case. In view of the above and in the interest of justice, we close this writ petition with direction to the Officer-in-Charge, Maner Police Station to investigate in accordance with law Maner Police Station Case No.290 of 2015 and bring the same to its logical conclusion expeditiously.

We also direct the Senior Superintendent of Police,

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.947 of 2015 (2) dt.16-10-2015 2/2 Patna, to ensure that the investigation in the case aforementioned is carried out in accordance with law and effectively so that the investigation is brought to its logical conclusion. During the course of investigation, if the alleged victim is recovered, learned Magistrate concerned, shall pass such order/ orders as may be deemed necessary and appropriate. (I.A.
