The petitioner is in custody in connection with Vishwa Vidyalay (L.N.M.U.) P.S. Case No. 281 of 2018 for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present F.I.R. has been lodged against unknown miscreants. He further submits that after the instant case, the petitioner has also been made accused in Vishwa Vidyalay (L.N.M.U.) P.S. Case No. 283 of 2018, in which he has been granted bail. He also submits that the name of the petitioner surfaced in the confessional statement of co-accused. The petitioner is in custody since 04.12.2018, yet no T.I.P. has been conducted.
