JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 07-12-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under various sections of the Arms Act. Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court giving direction to trial court to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within four months and subsequently, the aforesaid period was extended. However, it is informed on behalf of the petitioner that up till now, not a single prosecution witness could be examined though charge against the petitioner was framed on 11.05.2016.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as period of detention of the petitioner in jail custody, let the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.50997 of 2016 (3) dt.07-12-2016 2/2 petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-I, Lakhisarai in connection with Sessions Trial No. 32 of 2016 arising out of Medni Chowki P.S. Case No. 63 of 2015.
