1. No one appears for the petitioner.

2. The writ petition is pending since 2014. The petitioner prays for issuing direction to the respondents to select the petitioner for the post of ANM in Saran district on the ground that her name appears at serial number 259 in the first merit list.

3. The respondents have filed their counter affidavit and it is stated that in the provisional merit list her name was placed at serial number 259 with remarks that original affidavit has not been submitted by the petitioner which was mandatory. The respondents have also denied that the original affidavit was

Patna High Court CWJC No.21708 of 2014(2) dt.12-12-2022 2/2 ever submitted by the petitioner and it is stated that the post of ANM was on contract basis. Since the petitioner did not fulfill the conditions laid down in the advertisement itself, she could not be selected.

4. No reply to the counter has been filed denying such averments.

5. Keeping in view the contents of the counter affidavit, this Court is satisfied that the petitioner did not comply with the requisite conditions under the advertisement for appointment of ANM and her candidature deserves to be ignored.

6.The writ petition is devoid of merits and is accordingly dismissed.
