The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act. As per the prosecution case, unknown accused persons are said to have fired and killed the father of the informant.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the F.I.R. was registered against unknown. The name of the petitioner transpired in the confessional statement of co-accused made before police in course of investigation. The petitioner is in custody since 22.9.2020 and co-accused Vishal Kumar has been enlarged on bail vide order dated 20.1.2022 passed in Cr.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31011 of 2021(3) dt.14-02-2022 2/2 Misc. no.32861 of 2021.

Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case including the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year 4 months and grant of bail to the above stated co-accused Vishal Kumar, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Shahpur P.S. Case no.287 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate I, Danapur, District Patna.
