Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sheikhpura (Kusumbha O.P.) P.S. Case No. 209 of 2015 registered for the offence under Section 302, 34 of the I.P.C. and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

This is 5th attempt for grant of bail on behalf of the petitioner inasmuch as on earlier four occasions the prayer for bail on behalf of the petitioner has been rejected. This court vide its order dated 21.09.2020 had called for a report from the learned trial court regarding the stage of the trial and in pursuance thereof learned Additional District &

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24357 of 2020(3) dt.23-11-2020 2/2 Sessions Judge Ist, Sheikhpura vide letter no. 74 / 2020 has submitted his report stating therein that the trial is likely to be concluded within six months.

In that view of the matter, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

However, if the trial does not conclude within a period of six months from today, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
