ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 18-06-2025 The petitioners herein by way of present writ petition, are seeking a direction to the Electric Executive Engineer, SBPDCL, Ram Nagri, Ashiyana, Patna to consider the application of the petitioners, submitted online, for providing new electric connection in the household of the petitioners.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioners have duly applied for electric connection on 24.01.2025 through online mode. They

Patna High Court CWJC No.6148 of 2025(3) dt.18-06-2025 2/2 further submit that when no connection was granted to the petitioners, they filed a representation before the Executive Engineer on 12.03.2025 but still no decision has been taken for providing electric connection to the petitioners' household.

3. Learned counsel for the SBPDCL submits that the application of the petitioners shall be considered in accordance with law and the Executive Engineer shall take a decision, on the application of the petitioners within a period of four weeks' positively.

4. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration and submissions, this application is disposed of with a direction to the Electric Executive Engineer, SBPDCL Ram Nagri, Ashiyana, Patna to consider the application of the petitioners for grant of new electric connection within a period of four weeks' from today and if the application of the petitioners is found in order, the electric connection shall be provided to the petitioners' household immediately.
