Heard the parties in virtual Court.

Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272,273 IPC and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Petitioner is driver of the vehicle from which liquor was recovered.

Submission is that the petitioner was unaware of what was containing in the cartoon which was to the knowledge of the owner of the vehicle. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 07.03.2021. Considering the submission aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32081 of 2021(2) dt.13-07-2021 2/2 bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Siwan Mufassil Police Station Case No.108 of 2021 with following conditions: (a) Both the bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.

(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
