2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 8(c), 20(b) (ii) (B) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. The case of the prosecution is that altogether 1.820 kg of ganja was recovered from a plastic bag.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the house is joint one and he has got no concern with the alleged recovery of ganja. It has also been submitted that the quantity of the contraband which has been recovered from the alleged possession of the petitioner is 1.820 kg, which is though more than small quantity but is much less than the commercial quantity. The petitioner is in custody since 14.11.2024 and has

5. Learned APP appearing for the state has opposed the prayer of regular bail.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Mufassil P.S. Case No.224 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Purnea.
