JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 27-11-2015 The petitioner seeks domestic connection for his house situated in Adarsh Colony, Patna City.

The petitioner submits that earlier domestic connection bearing Consumer No.010104128529 was in the name of his father Late Ram Prasad Rai who died in the year 2005 leaving behind three sons including the petitioner. He submits that after his death, there was separation in the family and each of three brothers got their share. The petitioner also got his separate Jamabandi and as such he prays for electric connection. Learned counsel for the Power Holding Company submits

Patna High Court CWJC No.22438 of 2013 (3) dt.27-11-2015 that there are electric dues in the name of father of the petitioner with respect to the same premises. He submits that as soon as the dues are paid, the electric connection would be granted to the petitioner.

In my view, the stand of the Power Holding Company cannot be said to be unreasonable. In the circumstances, I do not find any merit in this application. It is accordingly dismissed. (Samarendra Pratap Singh, J) KHAN/- U
