The petitioner seeks bail in Kishanganj P.S. Case No. 423/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 47 and 51 of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016. It is alleged that 34 bottles, each containing 600 ml, country made wine made in West Bengal were recovered from the possession of the petitioner and for that the petitioner is in jail since 10.09.2016.

Considering the nature of allegations made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner has already remained in jail for more than three and half months, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48607 of 2016 (3) dt.23-12-2016 2/2 Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kishanganj in connection with Kishanganj P.S. Case No. 423/2016.
