The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Supaul (Mahila) P.S. Case No.45/16 registered under Sections 341, 354B, 379, 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation against the petitioner is of attempt to commit rape on the informant and on protest by the informant biting at her chick .

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The prayer for bail of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5074 of 2017 (2) dt.17-03-2017 2/2 petitioner is rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the court below within six weeks and seek regular bail which shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by this order.
