The case was taken up on 20-9-2023 and the learned counsel for the petitioner, after some argument, had sought permission to withdraw the quashing application, accordingly permission was accorded. It was also submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner on 20-9-2023 that the case is of the year 2013 and discharge application of the petitioner was rejected on 4-2-2017, thereafter charges were framed, but still the trial has not concluded as such the Court while permitting the petitioner to withdraw the criminal miscellaneous had directed the learned trial court to conclude the trial expeditiously preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the order dated 20-92023.

The learned ACJM 1st, Barh, Patna, has sent a letter dated 20-12-2024 . From perusal of the letter dated 20-12-2024, it would manifest that the learned ACJM 1st, Barh, Patna, had requested for extending the time for disposing the case by four months, but then four months period has elapsed, but still if the trial is not concluded, the learned trial court is directed to conclude the same expeditiously within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
