JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 23-11-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. (i) For quashing the decision contained in Memo No. 134/5 kha dated 31.08.2018 issued by the District Magistrate, Aurangabad whereby the claim of the petitioner for regularisation/ appointment on ClassIV Post has been rejected.

(ii) For a direction to the respondents concerned to regularize the service of the petitioner on Class-IV Post as he has served in Quality Control Division, Water Resources Department,

Patna High Court CWJC No.6157 of 2022(2) dt.23-11-2023 2/2 Aurangabad as daily wages skilled labourer for more than Ten (10)years.

(iii) For a direction to the respondent No. 4 to allow the petitioner to work as daily wages worker in the Quality Control Division Water Resources Department, Aurangabad till regularization of his services and till then he may be paid equal pay for equal work."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
