The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kuchaikot P.S. Case No. 262 of 2016 registered under Sections 272, 273, 420 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30(a)(b)(c) of Bihar Excise Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that nothing has come in the case diary against the petitioner. Only on suspicion, he has been made accused in the present case. Further submission is that petitioner is neither owner nor the driver of the truck in which the wine was recovered.
