Present:- Member(Judicial) :Mr. Justice Jitendra Mohan Sharma Member(Legal Profession) : Mr. Manoj Kumar No.1, Advocate AWARD The dispute between the parties having been referred for determination to the Lok Adalat and the parties having compromised/ settled the case/matter, the following award is passed in terms of the settlement: The appellant and her learned counsel are present. The learned counsel for opposite party no. 2 with Regional Manager, Oriental Insurance Company Limited is also present.

After persuasion the opposite party no. 2 is ready to pay further amount of Rs. 1,60,000/- without interest by way of enhanced compensation to the appellant/claimant. It is submitted that the amount of award with interest has already been paid to the claimant. Accordingly, as per settlement between the parties, the respondent no. 2 is directed to pay further amount of Rs. 1,60,000/- without interest to the claimant/ appellant by depositing the same before the concerned Tribunal within two months from today and the Claim Tribunal shall pay that amount of Rs. 1,60,000/- (one lakh sixty thousand) to the claimant after proper verification within fifteen days.

In the result, accordingly, this Miscellaneous Appeal is hereby disposed of.

The parties are informed that the court fee, if any, paid by any of them shall be refunded.
