2. Writ petition has been filed challenging notification dated 23.1978 issued by the Government of Bihar for acquisition of land for construction of residential house for the officers and staff of the Electricity Department, Darbhanga.

3. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be filing an application before the Collector, Darbhanga (respondent no.4) for redressal of their grievance.

4. In view of the nature of prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners, let the petitioners file such application before respondent no.4.

5. In the event, such application is filed, respondent no.2 shall look into the matter and dispose of the same by a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law after hearing the parties.

6. Writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid directions.
