The Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The offence under the Excise Act has allegedly been committed on 20.10.2016 inasmuch as liquor was recovered from the vehicle of this petitioner. Hence, this anticipatory bail application is not maintainable in view of the provisions of Section 76 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Accordingly, the application stands dismissed.
