This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Basopatti P.S Case No. 133 of 2015, disclosing the offences under Sections 341, 323, 353, 384, 386, 379 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

For the sole reason that this application has been filed three years after registration of the FIR, in my view, no case for grant of anticipatory bail is made out. The application is accordingly rejected.

The petitioner is directed to surrender in the court below within four weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised. If he does so, the court below shall consider his prayer for regular bail on its own merit, without being prejudiced by
