The petitioners of both these applications apprehend their arrest in connection with Bettiah Town P.S. Case No. 588 of 2020 registered for offences under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 472 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is basically a dispute between the widow daughterin-law and mother-in-law. The mother-in-law alleges that her share of land has been illegally sold by widow daughter-in-law. The widow daughter-in-law says that she is trying to sell the land because she is not being maintained by her in-laws after she became widow.

Petitioner, namely, Manju Devi is the widow daughter-in-law of the informant whereas petitioner, namely, Chandan Kumar is a witness of the sale deed.

In the circumstances and without going into the merits of the case, both these applications for anticipatory bail are allowed.

Accordingly, let petitioners of both these applications, above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned
