The present petition has been filed seeking the following relief :- "(i) For directing the respondent state to produce the selection/ appointment letter of the respondent no.-8 namely Upendra Kumar and be further pleased to quash the same as the petitioner got the first position in interview but the respondent state appointed Upendra Kumar on the post of ChiefCo-ordinator from the merit list of five

Patna High Court CWJC No.22377 of 2014(2) dt.16-08-2023 2/2 candidates out of 24 candidates who appeared in the interview including the petitioner at serial no. 38 inspite of the facts that the petitioner has more academic qualification as well as experience than the respondent no.-8.

(ii) For directing the respondent to appoint the petitioner on the post of Chief Coordinator after quashing the selection/ appointment letter of respondent no.-8."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous with the efflux of time, hence, the same be disposed off.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
