06-10-2016 Heard Sri Ranjan Kumar Jha, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Madan Kumar, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 07-08-2016 in Sanokhar (Amdanda) P.S. Case No. 60 of 2016 registered for offence under Sections 188, 272, 273, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47 of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016, has prayed for grant of bail.

By way of referring to statement made in paragraph - 3 of the petition, it was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and on false accusation of recovery of about six litres of Indian made foreign liquor, the petitioner has been detained.
