The petitioner is accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 54 of 2018 arising out of Kesariya P.S. Case No. 344 of 2018, registered under Sections 20, 22 and 24 of the Narcotic Drugs Psychotropic Substance Act and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.
The accusation is of recovery of 30 Grams Ganja and 1.5 litres country made liquor from possession of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 24.08.2018.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.71424 of 2018(2) dt.06-12-2018 2/2 Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge/Special Judge, East Champaran at Motihari, in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 54 of 2018 arising out of Kesariya P.S. Case No. 344 of 2018. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner.
