JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 05-12-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections-376, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and 4 & 5 of the POSCO Act.

Taking into consideration that there is specific allegation of rape against the petitioner and the allegation appears to have been corroborated by the statement, recorded u/S 164 of the Cr. P.c. as well as medical evidence, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail and accordingly, his prayer for bail in POSCO Case No. 38 of 2015 in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 244 of 2015 stands rejected.
