1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.
2. The petitioner seeks bail in PhulwariSharif P. S. Case No.1081 of 2022 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 120B, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 22.07.2024 and has antecedent of 31 cases and the informant alleges that he was forcibly taken to the residence of the accused persons where 10-12 accused persons were present from before. Further, the accused persons on point of pistol got him signed on a

No.24912 of 2026(3) dt.13-05-2026 2/3 stamp paper and on some blank paper thereafter he was informed that they have received Rs.60 Lacs from Arjun and rest Rs.15 Lacs shall be given at the time of registry. Further, he made him partner in 51 bigha construction company thereafter Arjun came and asked him to do the registry in favour of Tinku, thereafter only the stamp paper and blank paper would be returned. The informant registered the document but the accused person neither gave the documents back nor the money which was given.

At this stage the learned A.P.P. submits that petitioner is a veteran criminal and from perusal of the order impugned, it would manifest that the same records that his name has been recommended by the police to be entered in the Gunda Register and the Additional S.P. has also recommended for initiation of proceeding under CCA. It is thus submitted that if privilege of regular bail is granted, the petitioner may abscond or try to tamper with the evidence. It is further submitted that for peace of the society the petitioner should not be released.
5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, the Court is in complete agreement with the submissions
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24912 of 2026(3) dt.13-05-2026 3/3 made by the learned A.P.P., as such is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.
6. The prayer of the petitioner for regular bail stands rejected.
