The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That this writ application in the nature of Mandamus is being filed for issuance a direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation dated 17.02.2023 whereby and whereunder the prayer for initiation of a departmental proceeding against the private respondent no. 7 having two date of birth, who is working Panchayat Secretary, under Block

Patna High Court CWJC No.5899 of 2023(2) dt.17-10-2023 2/2 Mansurchak in the District Begusarai. This writ application is being filed for directing the respondents to stop the salary of the private respondent no. 7 during the Enquiry period.

This writ application is also being filed for issuance of a direction to the respondents to initiate proper recovery process against the entire amount which has been withdrawn by the private respondent no. 7 during his service period."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
