None ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE ORAL ORDER 15-09-2017 This application has been filed for initiating action for contempt. The application was filed on 6th September, 2010 and the contempt made is of an order dated 18.12.2009 passed in CWJC No.11803 of 2009.

When the matter was taken up for consideration seven years back on 10.12.2010, it was informed to this Court that SLP No.2954 of 2010 is pending and, therefore, the case was directed to be listed after disposal of the aforesaid SLP. Today, after a period of more than seven years, neither counsel for the parties are present nor is there any information with regard to disposal of SLP No.2954 of 2010.

Keeping in view the aforesaid, I see no reason to keep the matter pending or initiate action for contempt now after a period of eight years of the order passed in the year 2009. In case, the SLP has been disposed of and after disposal of the SLP, the

Patna High Court MJC No.3783 of 2010(3) dt.15-09-2017 2/2 applicant has any grievance still subsisting, he is granted liberty to initiate fresh proceedings in accordance with law. In view of the aforesaid, finding no case made out for keeping the matter pending or proceeding with the contempt, the application stands disposed of.
