2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Malsalami P.S. Case No. 126 of 2026 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, there is recovery of 120 litres of illicit liquor from the E-rickshaw.

4. The petitioner is accused in nine criminal cases including five cases under the Excise Act. He has been named by the co-accused as one of the persons involved in the crime in which 120 litres of illicit liquor has been recovered.

5. Considering the fact of the case and the criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the application stands dismissed.

7. The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge in this case.

8. It is, however, clarified that the observations made herein are limited to the adjudication of the present bail application and shall not prejudice the case of the petitioner at any subsequent stage of the trial and this Court has not express any opinion on the merits of the case.
