The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bihta P.S. Case No. 863 of 2016, registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 324 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Danapur/ Successor Court, Patna.
The accusation is that 14 persons named in the F.I.R. including the petitioner reached at the door of the informant armed with weapons and started to make firing. In that course, this petitioner caused firearm injury at the right thigh of Arbind Singh whereas others were also sustained firearm injury. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13375 of 2017 (2) dt.25-04-2017 case and the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of anticipatory bail stands rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial court within four weeks and pray for regular bail, which would be considered by the trial court in accordance with law without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
