Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 8/10 of the POCSO Act. As per the prosecution case, this petitioner is alleged to have attempted to make sexual assault with son of informant. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the case. Petitioner is Principal of St. Joseph School, Lakhisarai and he is serving in education field since last 20 years without any complaint from any corner of the society. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and is in custody since 19.02.2021 and investigation

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts of the case and the period of custody of the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-VI-cum- Special Judge, POCSO Act, Lakhisarai in connection with Lakhisarai (Kabaiya) PS case No. 107/2021.
