Petitioner is accused in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 167 of 2009 registered under Sections 498A, 323, 307, 379/34 of the I.P.C. and 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act. The allegation against the petitioner is of cruelty, torture in various ways and making attempt to kill the informant by sprinkling the kerosene oil for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is husband and he has falsely been implicated in this case. It is also submitted that there is no injury report in the case

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51956 of 2016 (3) dt.16-01-2017 2/2 and the petitioner is in jail custody since 20.08.2016, having no criminal antecedent.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of C.J.M., Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 167 of 2009.
