However, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent nos.5 to 8, by referring to the averments made in the counter affidavit filed on their behalf, submits that on account of passage of time, the present matter has become infructuous and the reliefs sought for on behalf of the petitioner cannot be now granted. Be that as it may, since none is appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the present writ petition stands dismissed for want of prosecution.
