The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Madhwapur P. S. Case No. 18 of 2020 dated 25.02.2020, instituted for offences under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

98.400 litres of Nepali liquor is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner denies that any such recovery has been made from him and that he has been made victim of the

The petitioner is in custody since 25.02.2020 and is a person of clean antecedents.

Regard being had to the afore-stated facts, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional Sessinos Judge cum Special Judge, Excise, Madhubani, District - Madhubani in connection with Madhwapur P. S. Case No. 18 of 2020.

The petition stands allowed.
