JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 10-12-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.P.P. and learned counsel for the informant. The petitioner seeks bail in Nawada Town P.S. Case No. 623 of 2018 registered under Sections 379, 386, 384 and other minor Sections of the Indian Penal Code. The informant named the accused persons and alleged that they having armed with country made pistol came and demanded extortion. Lalkeshwar Prasad and Rajendra Yadav extorted Rs.25,000/- from the informant but when the wife of the informant came, the petitioner(Shankar Kumar) and Shyam Sundar Kumar are alleged to have dragged the wife of the informant by catching her hair.

Learned counsel for the informant submits that the petitioner assaulted the lady but it appears that there is no

Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that the petitioner has already remained in jail for more than two months, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nawada in connection with Nawada Town P.S. Case No.623 of 2018.
