The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B), 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and the informant alleges that his daughter was married to Bali Manjhi about six years back, it is next alleged that after marriage his daughter was tortured for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry, though from a wedlock a child was born, it is next alleged that on 04.02.2020 the petitioner gave information to the informant about illness of his daughter and when he came to the house of his daughter he found no trace of his daughter and all the

Thereafter, he came to know from the villagers that his daughter has been killed and with their help he recovered the dead body which was buried near a pond. The learned counsel submits that petitioner is the brother in law of the deceased the husband is in custody it is also submitted that from the FIR it would manifest that it was this petitioner who had informed the informant about the illness of his daughter, it is also submitted that the petitioner and the husband of the deceased are living separately and there is no specific allegations against the petitioner of committing any torture against the deceased for non-fulfillment of dowry, rather the allegation are general and omnibus in nature. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Paliganj P.S.
