2. This application is filed for modification of order dated 15.01.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 82292 of 2023.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail on 15.01.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 82292 of 2023 with a direction to the petitioner to surrender before the Court below within a period of six weeks from today, the petitioner be enlarged on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29518 of 2024(2) dt.10-05-2024 2/2 Court concerned, East Champaran in connection with Dumariyaghat P.S. Case No. 196 of 2023, vide ABP No. 3732/23 but the petitioner could not surrender and furnish the bail bond before the Court below within the stipulated time as he was taken in custody by police on 15.01.2024 in Saraiya P.S. Case No. 35 of 2024 and he was granted bail on 28.02.2024 by this Hon'ble Court in Cr. Misc. No. 13815 of 2024. Thereafter, the petitioner finally released from the prison on 18.03.2024.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to extend the time for furnishing the bail bond of the petitioner.

5. In view of the matter, let the time to surrender of the petitioner, as ordered on 15.01.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 82292 of 2023 be further extended by four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

6. Accordingly, the modification application is allowed and the order dated 15.01.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 82292 of 2023 is modified to the above extent. (Chandra Prakash Singh, J) Gautam/- U T
