The petitioner Rehand Ahmad @ Tousif Ahmad apprehends his arrest in Narpatganj P.S. Case No. 193 of 2013, registered against unknown for the offences punishable under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier Sakari P.S. Case No. 72 of 2013 was registered against unknown but after recovery of looted articles on the basis of confessional statement the name of the petitioner figured in the case. Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that this case appears to be a case of dacoity, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

However, the petitioner, if so advised, may surrender

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1105 of 2015 (2) dt.12-01-2015 before the court below and pray for regular bail and his prayer shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by this order.
