Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kawakole P.S. Case No. 47 of 2015 registered under Sections- 302, 498A, 323, 325, 201 and 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation against the petitioner and other inlaws is of torture and assault due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry which led to her death.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the deceased was a patient of mental disorder. It is further submitted that the present occurrence took placed after 16 years of marriage.

Considering the gravity of allegations levelled in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53002 of 2016 (4) dt.13-01-2017 2/2 the first information report against this petitioner of torture and assault which led to the death of the deceased, I do not find it to be fit case to grant the privilege of bail. The prayer for bail is, accordingly, rejected.
