In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Saraiya P. S. Case No. 57 of 2020 registered for offence punishable under sections 272, 273, 120 (B) of the Indian Penal Code and section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The police has intercepted a "Bolero" vehicle bearing Registration No. BR 01 PB-2693 and from where huge quantity (334.86) litres of liquor has been recovered. Looking to the recovery of huge quantity of liquor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected.
