====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 18-09-2023
1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. On query of the Court from the learned counsel for the petitioner with regard to the stage of the case, learned counsel very fairly submits that despite best endeavour he could not contact with the petitioner, as such, he is not aware of the stage of the case presently.
3. Learned A.P.P. for the State submits that the present quashing application has been filed seeking quashing of the order of cognizance dated 10.10.2015 in connection with Pirpaiti P.S. Case No. 89 of 2014, G.R. No. 1416 of 2014 and from 2015 till now much water has flown. It is further submitted that it may be the possibility that the case by now must have
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6777 of 2017(2) dt.18-09-2023 2/2 been over and perhaps that is why the petitioner is not contacting the learned counsel for the petitioner.
4. Considering the submission made by the learned A.P.P., the Court is not inclined to exercise its inherent jurisdiction under Section 482 Cr.P.C.
5. Hence, this application is dismissed.
