2. On 07.03.2024 i.e. almost more than a year back, relief was granted to the petitioners. However, they chose not to surrender within four weeks and instead, six months later, a modification petition was filed vide Cr. Misc. No. 70850 of 2024. It was taken up on 27.09.2024 and though this Court took note of the fact that the petitioners have come after six months, a chance was given and surrender time was extended by further two weeks.

3. This followed another Cr. Misc. 80307 of 2024 for extending the period of surrender for another four weeks. Clearly, the petitioners were misusing the process of law and in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23128 of 2025(2) dt.18-04-2025 2/2 that background, the modification petition was rejected on 21.01.2025.

4. Instead of surrendering and seeking bail by detailing out the entire facts that led to the petitioners having been granted relief by this Court earlier once again and after another three months, third modification petition has been filed.

5. All the facts have been incorporated. This takes the Court to only one conclusion, the modification petition is frivolous, abuse of process of law and is rejected with a cost of Rs. 1,000/- to be deposited with the District Legal Services Authority, Begusarai.
