1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.(i) For a direction upon the Respondents to grant Samman Pension of J.P. Samman Scheme to the petitioners who are entitled to the same under the provisions of the said Scheme with effect from

Patna High Court CWJC No.5710 of 2024(2) dt.27-06-2024 2/2 the date of application.

(ii) For a direction to the Respondents to pay arrears of Samman Pension to the petitioners which has not been paid to the petitioners despite their application forwarded for the same by Advisory Counsel alongwith Penal interest."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the Secretary (Special Branch), Home Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate petition is filed by the petitioners, before the Secretary (Special Branch), Home Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
